Mary McLellan – Founder of Mums of
Steel Mums of Steel got started with the ambition of giving mothers a different choice in exercise and social interaction. The idea behind Mums of Steel is for mothers and babies to get out of the house and into the fresh air to enjoy some exercise socialize with other mums and bond with their baby. I have a passion for women’s health and development and feel it is incredibly important to have instructors who specialize in Ante and Post Natal Fitness leading our groups. I hope to make mums of steel the catalyst to happier mums and babies everywhere. I am very lucky to do a job I love so much! |

Niki McPartlan – Instructor Mums of
Steel I have 4 children myself and know how hard it is to find time to Exercise. Mums of Steel is the perfect way to get out of the house, meet other mums and exercise. I enjoy meeting new mums and helping them to get fit in a fun safe environment. |

Gian Marzo – Instructor Mums of Steel Following the birth of my daughter Amia I was keen to get back into shape and I know how hard it can be to fit exercise in around caring for a baby. This is why Mums of Steel is great as it enabled me to exercise with my daughter in the open air and meet other mums at the same time. This has inspired me to train as a Fitness Instructor specializing in Ante and Post Natal Fitness. I feel my experience as a mum and as a former participant enables me to relate to the class and inspire others to enjoy the class whilst working hard and having fun. |

Kris Kemmery- Toone – Instructor Mums of Steel As a new father I also understand the needs and pressures facing new mums in the desire to lose ‘baby weight’ and the realities that women face after giving birth. Supporting my wife through this time has inspired me to want to help other mums. As a personal trainer I have been involved in helping many people to meet their personal goals, be it to join the Police force, improve sporting performance or simply to lose weight and tone up, and believe that with hard work, determination and perseverance anything is achievable. |
